playing for a crowd of grade-schoolers who were alternately spellbound by his antics & confused by his hair, Stendek encouraged the kids of Jackson Elementary to stay off drugs & stay in school. it was precious. later, chris & his mom & sister took us out for pad thai, rockford-style; it tasted like lemons & was less-than-precious. |
