this just in!

in an effort to communicate a lot of information in an efficient way, i'm going to share some "talking points" -- this is a term i learned from my cousin who works in DC, as i had formerly called them "bullet points."

* midcoast mania: according to sally, the segments i taped will be airing this weekend. MCM is on channel 4 late friday/early saturday at 130am. feel free to tune in & laugh mercilessly at my giggling, eyerolling, & wholly embarrassing delivery. also, i think my hair looked like ass.

* Tin Tree Factory: in one of his final shows before he leaves for seattle, john will be playing at the august midcoast mania taping night at sally t's on saturday, august 14. please come out & give him the send-off he deserves!

* Commichung: in yet another sally t's-related turn of events (seriously, what gives?), the Chung snagged the much coveted opening slot for the Kristeen Young show on tuesday, august 24. mr the whitenoise sez: "the Chung are playing with Kristeen Young? holy crap, she played with bowie & brian molko from placebo & tony visconti produces her. damn, what a score for the Chung! she rules."

* there is really big news that i can't tell you yet but am DYING to spill the beans about. see me after class & i'll give you a hint.

Q2. true, & it made me feel like i was dying inside, & also like i needed to be eating at denny's, which i did shortly thereafter with the always hungry Stendek, the mose nilgurary brian, the unaccountably mulleted scott, & a boy named nate whom i'd never met before & therefore cannot make fun of.

C. a huge success, & furthermore, the show will be running through september 7th, so you can go check out Suit A's prints if by chance you didn't make it out to the opening, which, let's be honest, nothing short of natural disaster should've kept you away, & i watched the weather so i KNOW there was no raining down of the fire & brimstone à la Revelations so you REALLY should've been there. i mean, everyone else went to the opening, YOU LOSER.
